「てをつな号」協力者からのメッセージ/Messages from the project collaborators

震災後の東北に初めてこの撮影で訪れたことは色んな意味で一生忘れられない出来事でした。
テレビで見る被災地と肌で感じる現場は明らかに違います。本当に言葉がなくなります。
その中を健気に力強く走る「てをつな号」を是非一人でも多くの人に見てもらいたい、
乗ってもらいたい、と強く思いました。
そして今回の「てをつな号」大作戦に参加した皆さんは、本当に素敵でした。
被災地の子供たちの笑顔が見たい、少しでも力になりたい！それだけで集まった人たち、
そして協力してくださったいくつもの会社。
善意が集まると不可能も可能になるんですね！
日本中から沢山のひとが三陸鉄道を、東北を訪れてくれることを願っています！！

That I visited Tohoku region for the first time after 311 was one of my memorable experiences.
What I saw with my own eyes on site was fully different from what I had seen on TV.I lost words.
So, I strongly hope many people come to see and ride “Teotsuna-go” peacefully running in the disaster area.
And how nice people who participated in this project were!
Many people and many companies came together to make the children in Tohoku smile and cheer them.
I realized well wishes can make impossible possible!

”てをつな号”の車体ラッピングを撮っていたとき、いろいろな事が頭をよぎりました。
合田監督に”いい表情以外いらないから”と言われたこと、
Ｐｒ鷲見さんからこの作品の意味を問われた事などなど。
広告の力を信じきっていた僕には、想像を超えた体験が始まっていました。
そしてあの”てをつな号”が走る姿を雨の中で一人撮っている時、
あの何秒間なんとも言いようのないやさしい気分に浸れたように思いました。
そんなそんな機会を与えて下さった皆さん、本当に有難うございました。

Taking pictures of “Teotsuna-go”, which was being wrapped, a variety of thoughts crossed my mind.
Director Goda had told me that he wanted just “the good expressions”.
Producer Washimi had asked me what this work would serve.
Then I, who believed in the power of advertisement, started to have an inconceivable experience.
And I was full of affection when I photographed “Teotsuna-go” in the rain.
I thank you, all the people who gave me such an opportunity.

私自身には直接の被害もなく、たくさんの人達が悲しみや苦しみの中にいるという事は、
文字や言葉で解っているつもりでも、私にとって、この大震災は、
やはりニュースやワイドショーの向こうに有るものでした。
そして、何もできない、いえいえ、何もしない自分に、ちいさな後ろめたさを感じていました。
この作戦に“ひょい”と参加させて頂いて、後ろめたさが、もう　ほんの少しちいさくなった気がします。
みなさんの一番端っこに、私もちょっとだけ手をつながせて頂いた様で、安らかになります。救われたのは私です。
メッセージのつもりが、お礼になってしまいました。ありがとうございます。

Koji Nanke

I was not directly damaged, but I think understood through the words
many people were suffering in the sorrow.
However, I know now this earthquake had been someone else's problem for me.
And I felt a bit guilty when I thought of myself, who can't do anything, no, who don't do anything.
I think feel less guilty after I happened to participate in this project.
Now I feel a peace, because you let me hold hands with you. It's me that was saved.
I should have given a message,,,after all I express my thanks.

アニメーション制作で参加させていただきました。  
たくさんのキャラクターや大人たちが、てをつないで東北を応援している
その想いが、子どもたちに届けばいいなと思います。
子どもたちの笑顔は、日本を元気にしてくれると信じています。
みんなが世界中の友達とてをつないで、笑顔になりますように！

Poptoon Akiko Tsuta

I participated in this project as a member of animation production.
I'd like the children to know that many characters and people with the hands holding cheer people
in Tohoku region.
I believe the smile of children can make Japan happy.
May everyone laugh a lot, holding hands with friends from all over the world!
